About Us
Multi-Phase Contracting Corp. is a Women-Owned, Family Run, Union, General Contracting Company that was Incorporated in 1989. Initially, the client base was existing industrial or commercial facilities. The work was primarily renovations to bring the facilities up to new life safety codes.
In recent years, Multi-Phase has been fortunate to work on new area projects, like the 525 mega watt Empire Generating Power Plant in Rensselaer, NY, the CESTM Nano Chip Fab Plant in Albany, NY, the NYS OGS Building in Albany, NY, SUNY Utica, SUNY Cobleskill, Air Products in Glenmont, NY and Sharon Springs Central Schools .
Multi-Phase specializes in architectural finishes with the company’s talented work force made up of Union Carpenters and Laborers. For the last thirty years, Multi-Phase has been the prime contractor on many renovation projects. They have a loyal and talented network of subcontractors.
Multi-Phase is still a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise and the company's officers continue to be members of the family that started the company in 1989.

Safety Training & Education
In addition to the skills and training the Union provides their tradesmen, Multi-Phase continually expends additional time and money for safety training and education. This has assisted in producing quality work with safe work practices.
Corporate personnel are trained annually to understand and meet all OSHA & state requirements for asbestos, lead, PCB, chrome and silica job site work. The knowledge acquired helps them engineer their work practices on all projects undertaken. These learned procedures protect the craftsmen and keeps the exposure limits down.
Corporation wide, everyone undergoes annual physicals; respirator fit tests, blood levels for lead, drugs and alcohol, as well as, craftsmen in particular do the following; respiratory protection, asbestos training, elevated work training, fall protection training, HAZMAT training, confined space training, lockout / tagout training, scaffold training, construction safety course 30 hour, 40 hour HAZWOPER course, and additional training as a result of day to day operations.
